Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear XXXXXXX

I have gone through your medical history carefully and am sorry for the situation you are in.

1. If you do not want a monthly charge, please select one premium question answer. You'd be charged only for this thread (1 answer + 2 free follow ups).

2. You report to have burning body syndrome, at this point, I'd like to know what tests you've done so far?

Burning sensation is indicating that a particular are or whole your body is suffering. This can be due to:
- vascular problems? (have you got your blood vessels checked for possible arteritis or other problems?
- neurological problems: related to compression of nerves coming out from the spinal cord (any possible injury of spinal cord?)? diabetic neuropathy? or peripheral neuropathy?
- have you done any neurological examination so far? EMG test or conductory tests?
- vitamins and minerals deficiencies can also cause problems with nerves and vascular function. This is especially true as you have digestive problems like ibs or incomplete bowel movements. Have you got your electrolytes checked? Any abnormal level found so far?
- Do you have a personal history of getting herpes infection frequently?

3. Burning mouth syndrome is the feeling of burning sensation in the mouth for months or even years. In your case, I'd like to know if you have carried out some tests like:
- oral swabs?
- dental examination?
- salivary flow tests?
- allergy tests?
- imaging tests?

If yes, can you please provide the reports?

If no reason was found, then, what I suspect is primary BMS. Taking into account your personal history of PTSD and IBS, I think you might have temporary problems with nerves responsible to control taste and pain.

Furthermore, if you have electrolytes deficiency, they will also be possible cause to BMS.

4. Overall, what I see in your case is due to PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). The stress trauma you have experienced has deteriorated your nervous system leading to the problems you are currently experiencing.

When nerves are damaged, it will require a long time to restore their normal function, including years. So, the fact that you are feeling burning sensation means that you are coming out from the state of traumatic stress. But, you need still time to recover/get out entirely. Once done, you won't feel those burning sensation unless tests would confirm nerve damages.

Vitamins and minerals supplementation containing magnesium, zinc, calcium, biotin, vit.E etc. can also help.

Hope this was of help.
Let me know if you have other queries.
