Brief Answer:
Possibility of androgenetic alopecia;Oral finasteride and topical minoxidil

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query and I have noted down your concern.

In males, androgenetic alopecia is the most common cause of increased hair shedding and thinning of hair from the scalp.
It is charcterised by hair shedding mainly from the center part of scalp i.e the front, mid and vertex of scalp. It may also be associated with gradual receding anterior hair line as well as widening and deepening of angles of anterior hair line in males.
There is usually a family history of other affected members like history of early balding in father, brother, cousins etc.
Diagnosis of androgenetic alpecia is clinically obvious and I suggest that you visit a dermatologist in your vicinity for a confirmatory diagnosis.
Goal of treatment in androgenetic alopecia is to arrest further progression of hair loss and reverse early hair loss. Therefore, earlier the therapy is initiated better the long term outlook.
Treatment is long term. Medical treatment of androgenetic alopecia consists of topical 5% minoxidil solution and Oral finasteride tablets.
