Question : My heart seems to be racing and I am having some problem breathing properly. This has been going on for 5 days and at times it gets pretty bad. I can't get in to see a Doctor until January 5th and I am not sure what to do to try and get back to normal

Brief Answer:
Urgent clinical care with vitals measurement

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

If you are in doubt about an impending emergency, I better suggest you to meet any health care provider be it a Registered Nurse Practitioner or even a Physician Assistant in the neighborhood urgent clinic.
They can at least check your Blood pressure, pulse, Respiratory rate and listen to heart sounds. The former can be done by you at your home as well.
However I do not wish you stay home taking no action. If you are not allergic to Aspirin you can take Aspirin 150mg after food once a day till the time you reach your doctor or help.

Let me know if you have any issues
