Question : Dear Sir, Since last couple of years i had several Liapomas in my body and the liapomas are increasing day by day. One is there very close to my heart. I have shown it to some doctor but all have told that it is not life threatening and if increasing you have to remove. Do i need to scan my body completly or is there any medicine which may desolve these liapomas. Kindly advise. Need a call from the expert. Regards, Satyaban 0000

Thanks for your query.

My advise:
First of all,
With the help of the Plastic Surgeon, yourself and family members palpate the whole body to see there are the lipomas present and mark them. One does not need any scan. This is always by a Physical examination.

Secondly, whether you have confimed it with biopsy or not. There are no medicines in any XXXXXXX (like Allopathy, Homeopathy or Ayurveda) hence please do not try anything.

Since the lipomas are increasing, it is better to remove them for 2 reasons:
1) You get rid of the disease which is not a normal part of the body
2) You get a confirmed diagnosis that they are lipomas and not something else, if biopsy is not done.

Ideally, the lipomas are removed if:
They are enlarging
Causing any pain
Are on joints
Are on pressure points
Invading the underlying muscles
For cosmetic reasons (not looking good)
