Suggest Treatment For Indentation On The Lower Legs

default

Question: I have noticed a large indentation in my lower right leg about three inches above my ankle on the outside calf. There is no pain or any symptom with it. I just happened to be putting on body lotion and as my hand went over the area, I noticed that the one dent has now turned into two dents? Sometimes they seem worse than at other times (like tonight). Is this something to worry about?

Brief Answer:
It is called edema

Detailed Answer:
Hello, I have studied your case. I think most probably you are having pitting edema. There is collection of fluid in the calf and feet and when there is pressure then it appears like indentations.
I would suggest you to check your blood pressure, Blood sugar and kidney functions. Any of these three can cause such symptoms.
Also some time it can be due to sleeping in wrong position or minor sprain.
So get this blood tests done ans share this report with me. I will try to explain you in detail.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. let me know if there is any other followup questions. thanks
