Question : Hi, I have a very badly infected throat causing fever and body pain. I'm on mahacef CV 200, twice a day(since yesterday evening). No improvement though. Do I need to change medication?

In my opinion , no need to change antibiotic now .

If I were your treating doctor , I would advice
complete course of mahacef CV 200 for 5 days ,
Add Paracetamol + Ibuprofen combination like Tab Ibugesic plus twice daily after meal ,
Antiseptic betadin Mouth Wash twice daily &
Tab Rantac twice daily .

Use complete treatment plan to get early relief .
