Brief Answer:
Cellulitis

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Thanks for the query. It is great that he is being transferred to a medical facility. He has an extensive cellulitis, likely bacterial, of his leg, and likely will require debridement and intravenous antibiotics; he will need to have cultures of both the wound and also blood cultures, including fungal cultures, to determine a potential culprit microorganism.

Let me know if I can be of additional help and keep me posted on progress,

Hope this helps, wish you the best,
