Question : hi Dr I have infection in my left nose, I am taking Allegra 120 mg twice a day and saline water spray 8-10 times a day from last two days. the pain is little less but it is still their and I feel the blockage/swelling is increasing in my nose. also I started feeling little itching in my eye also. I am suffering this problem from last 3 days. I am also attaching a pic of my nose, can you please take a look and suggest the next steps.
I am also having viral and I am taking paracetamol and oflin200 mg for the same (200)

Hello

There seems to be a lot of pusing in your nose, which is seen in the picture.

In my opinion the best antibiotic for this kind of infection is amoxicillin with clavulanic acid 625 mg twice a day for 7 days. Please consider changing your antibiotic

I would also ask my patients to do a x ray of the nose to look for the extent of infection

If your symptoms do not decrease in 48 hours or there is facial or eye swelling then you must rush to your ent doctor immediately

The rest medications are correct. in addition I would also recommend that you take steam inhalation 2 to 3 times a day as it will help relieve your symptoms
