Brief Answer:
Your symptoms indicate an infection of bellybutton wound.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Belly button incision is the place through which the gallbladder is taken out. So the tissues of this area have direct contact with gallbladder. If for some reason a gallbladder is ruptured when removing it through this hole, bile or even a stone can be left in the bellybutton. This can be the reason of infection in this wound.
Smell and yellow discharge are very characteristic symptoms of wound infection. You may also have pain and fever.

I suggest you to consult your surgeon with this issue (its not urgent, can wait a day - no longer). The wound should be checked and present fluid drained. Antibiotic might be necessary.
Till the surgeon visit, please wash it with water and soap and put a bandage on it.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
