Brief Answer: Folliculitis lesion, release pus Detailed Answer: Hi Iunderstand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same . I have seen the attached picture. You seem to have developed an infection of the hair follicle . Since there is a visible pus collection in the skin, it will be helpful if the pus is released by some method. You should clean the area properly with a mild antiseptic before popping out the pus . Also make sure you wash your hands well. You can then try to press it and remove as much pus as possible. Finally apply a topical antibiotic cream like neosporin or mupirocin over the affected area . Removal of the pus will speed up the healing process. Continue to apply the antibiotic cream over the affected area twice a day . Do not apply any other cream or oil over it . Hope it helps Dr Geetika Paul
