Brief Answer:
Need more details.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

I would like to know some more details- your menstrual history, any other medication, history of infections, weight disturbances, any investigations done and if possible, please attach reports.

PCOD is seen in many young individuals in recent times and this increase in the frequency may be related to the altered life style and dietary habits. The condition can cause infertility and hormone related problems, but, can be controlled by proper management and gives good fertility results.

Please let me know the drug combination in 'mayonext'. Ovafuze is a vitamin and mineral combination.

Since you have an irregular period, it remains to be seen if you are ovulating at all. Management is initially targeted at achieving a congenial atmosphere to aid ovulation. This is done through weight management, regular exercise, healthy diet and avoidance of stress, controlling insulin resistance if any with the use of Metformin.

Once hormone stability is achieved, ovulation is induced provided the tubes are patent, uterine response is good and there is no male factor abnormality.

Hope your query has been clarified. Please feel free to contact for further information. I will be happy to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.

Brief Answer:
Results for infertility treatment are good in PCOD.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing back.

Firstly, your menstrual cycle needs to be regularized and ovulation status must be established. Also, the uterine response to hormones should be checked. Tubal patency and male factor assessment should be done. This is followed usually by ovulation induction with regular monitoring and timed intercourse for up to six cycles. Most often, results are good. So, please do continue with what you are doing at present and do not worry. You have very good chance to conceive.

Hope this helps.

regards,
Shanti.V.

Brief Answer:
At the time of ovulation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing again.

To have good result, unprotected sexual intercourse should take place at least on alternate days around the ovulation period. In a normal menstrual cycle, ovulation occurs two weeks prior to the onset of the next period. In an induced cycle, ovulation is monitored and intercourse advised accordingly.

Hope this helps.

Wish you good health.

regards,
Shanti.V.
