Brief Answer:
Suggestive of boil, kindly take medications

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir,
Thanks for writing in to us at hcm.
This is Dr.Riyanka and I am glad to be helping you with your query.

I have gone through the photography carefully.
It is suggestive of folliculitis (Boil) i.e; inflammation of hair follicle. Can you please tell me the exact location of this boil and also if you have any such lesions elsewhere?

The lesion has a characterisitic red bump with a white patch around the hair follicle. It is a bacterial or fungal infection that could have occured due to tight clothing, constant sweating, shaving and usage of steroids which reduce immunity . Since you have had fungal infections in the past i would like to comment that your immunity status is not optimum.

I suggest kindly consult a dermatologist for medications like:

1. Anti inflammation oral medications like (Diclofenac Potassium - 50mg,
Serratiopeptidase 15mg) daily twice after food for three days. These are prescription drugs.

2. Topical Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide gel to be applied twice a day
morning and evening during the same times daily for 10 days.

If it doesnt start healing in two days or if the pain increases then you need to take oral antibiotics.

Kindly maintain hygiene. Take bath with antiseptic soaps. wear loose clothing.

You also need to get tested for Diabetes, HIV if you are getting infections regularly to rule out any immunocompromised state.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr. Riyanka
