Question : I have an ingrown toe nail on my big toe. There is erythema and pain. No fluctuance or access seen. What antibiotic would you suggest? I am allergic to sulfa.

Read and understood that you have an ingrowing toe nail with infection as said by the erythema and the pain .
You may please take Amoxycillin, and need a prescription for this.
You also can apply liquid povidone iodine locally to make the area sterile.
Also take some anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen if it suits you.
