Question : My dad was involved in rough-housing with a friend, and his nose got shoved up. He feels blood going down his throat. And his sinuses hurt fairly badly. Any advise?

How old is the injury?How many days back he had this nose trauma?

The way he describe his symptoms 'feels blood going down his throat' and 'sinuses hurt badly',mandates an ENT examination on a priority basis.

I suggest you to take him to an ENT specialist,in person.Only after a thorough examination,an assessment of injury can be made.
