Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam,
Thank you for posting your query on HCM.
Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that since you have injured your thigh , since the bone underlying happens to be femur its very strong and very unlikely that you have sustained any fracture or ligament tear .
It is most likely a muscle injury and hematoma that is leading to the problem . First I would advise you to get an X ray of thigh to see if there is any fracture , if thats ruled out there is nothing much to worry .You should take naproxen 500 mg twice daily which is an antiinflammatory , it will reduce the swelling and accelerate healing .For some days you should take rest and avoid moving the leg . But in case its a fracture you will need to see a doctor for this.
Take care.

Dear Madam,
Thank you for reverting back.
You can use compression bandage if that help you but its not very beneficial generally . Most important will be to rule out fracture at at this time.
