Hi
Namasthe
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Mr XXXXXXX

Being a parent myself I understand your concern and apprehension.
I would also like to thank you for providing the clinical photograph.
Its most likely to be due to insect bite. I would advise you the following which will definitely help
1. Apply small quantity of Soframycin ointment over the lesion , followed by application of Calamine lotion. Calamine lotion will have soothening effect and also reduce itching
2. Anti-histaminics are mainstay of treatment: It will control the allergic reaction and also take care of associated symptoms like itching. I prefer giving Promethazine (Phenargan) syrup.

Do not worry, the lesion will definitely improve in 12 to 24 hours.

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take Care
