Hi there...
Thanks for writing in...
I would advise you to practise good sleep hygiene.
Try to sleep and wake up at the same time daily....Eg.. Go to bed at 9pm and wake up at 6 am next morning.
Avoid tea or coffee, alcohol 4 hours before going to bed.
Try listening to light music before going to bed. Alternatively, read a book.
Regular exercise 30 minutes a day 5 days a week might help. Exercise releases endorphins which will make you feel good. However, avoid exercising in late evenings as it will keep you fresh..and you might be unable to fall asleep. The best time to exercise is early morning or in the afternoons.
Do sign up for yoga classes which will help you relax and induce good sleep.
Avoid taking pills to help you sleep, unless it has been prescribed by your treating physician.
Hope this helps.
