Doctor I am in need of help. I'm scared. I never felt this way before. My muscle twitches make me worried. Each time I use my arms or legs the twitches target that area then the fatigue follows. My brain is making me move in slow motion and I am extremly worried. It feels like pressue between my temples. I don't complain nor do I rush to Doctors or Hospitals unless a real emergency. This yr I lost my insurance I don't want to go to the hospital and loose my home Its all we got. My daughters need me and I need to know I'm going to be ok. I pray to God I'm not wasting my time on this site. Please help and give me some insight.

Brief Answer:
Not Lyme

Detailed Answer:

Dear Ma'am,

I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but since you have been experiencing these symptoms for more than 2 months, and the IgG Lyme antibodies test is negative, then I agree with your doctor that you don't have Lyme disease. However, muscle twitches could be due to a number of other causes including abnormal calcium blood levels , vitamin b12 difficiency induced neuropathy or kidney insufficiency .. So, I would recommend that you get a blood test for calcium and vitamin b 12 levels together with a blood test of your kidney functions including urea and creatinine.

I hope you find this helpful.

Thank you so much Dr Shoman I have been feeling a little better following your advise. I took b12 1000mg for the past two days drinking lots of fluids and replacing calcium. However the fog in my brain that is making me move slower is still there as well as the twitches. My high blood cell count would only mean that i'm fighting somthing right. My doctor never perscribed anything further for me. What should i do? Also should I be concerned that the lymes and Western Blot came back flagged on certain numbers? Thank you so much for repling.

Brief Answer:
Yes

Detailed Answer:

Hello again,

There is no need to worry as the IgM positive test is conclusive only within the first weeks of illness.. After four weeks of showing symptoms the IgM test is not conclusive and it is considered a negative result if the igG is negative even if the IgM is positive.. As for the fog, I would recommend that you get a blood test if kidney functions.. high WBC count means that there is an infection somewhere in you body, possibly a kidney infection.

I hope you find this helpful.
