Brief Answer:
Kidney pain or back pain possible

Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,

since both is possible, in order to distinguish between back and kidney pain i would do the following:

1. Examination of back and kidney area
2. Urine test for inflammation.
3. Ultrasound of kidneys.

If that is done it can be mostly said for sure where the pain comes from and proper therapy can be started.

Best regards
