Question : What are the possible causes of intermitant pain in the left thigh? I have varicose veins. I have not had a recent surgery, am not pregnant, and do not have heart problems. Also is there a charge for this information?My email address is YYYY@YYYY

I understand your concern.
Could you let me know the factors that precipitate this pain and what relieves it as the pain is not constant.
Some of the common causes would be a pinched nerve from the spine which produces pain radiating to the thighs and sometimes further down. This would be related to postures.
There can be pain called intermittent claudication, where the pain occurs on walking and relieved by rest . This would be a vascular pain related to blood flow to the affected area.
