Brief Answer:
Polycystic ovarian syndrome

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Irregular and delayed periods are due to hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism, hyperprolactemia, polycystic ovarian disease, Cushings disease or due to stress.
Since your ultrasound is suggestive of polycystic ovarian disease, the cause of delayed or irregular periods is likely to be this syndrome.
The mainstay of treatment is weight loss, lifestyle changes and hormonal treatment.
Since you have taken Primulet N till 3 rd August, you can wait till 17 th August for the withdrawal periods to occur.
You should also get your thyroid hormone levels and prolactin levels done.

are there any natural way to treat this or to induce delayed periods?

Brief Answer:
Weight loss is the key

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, thanks for responding. PCOS is a disorder of insulin resistance in the body , and leads to irregular or no ovulation, irregular periods, obesity, and over the long term, diabetes.
The best way to improve the insulin receptivity is weight loss and lifestyle modification like active lifestyle, avoiding oily food and not taking stress. Even 5% decrease in weight improves the hormonal profile and there is much improvement in regularity of ovulation and periods.
There is no natural way to induce periods.
I suggest you to try the abovementioned management for 3-6 months, if still not treated, then you can be given Krimson 35 (or other similar drugs) to regularize the periods.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Please do get back for further queries.
Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
Lean PCOS

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX your body mass index is 20, which is completely normal and you are not overweight or obese. You are having lean PCOS which occurs in average weight females and is slightly difficult to treat.
You should have an active lifestyle and do regular exercise.
Moreover, you should get your oral glucose tolerance test to detect any deranged blood sugar, of any so that appropriate treatment can be started.
Weight loss do not helps in treatment of lean PCOS, you need to start cyclical hormonal treatment to regulate your periods. These treatments need close follow-up and regular dosage adjustment every few months. So it is best that you pursue the treatment with a Gynecologist locally.

Be stress free! It'll get better!

Thanks Doctor. Also I read somewhere that ipill and contraceptive pills help in regularizing periods. Can ipill be taken after primlout n dose?what are the harmful effects of these medicines?

Answered by Dr. Deepti Verma (23 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Oral contraceptive pills can be taken

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, I pill is an emergency contraceptive and is never used for regulating the periods. You should not take it after Primulet N.
However, oral contraceptive pills are used to regulate the periods, and the one used in PCOS contain cypoterone acetate. They are available by various brand names like Diane 35, Krimson 35 etc.
They are to be cyclically for 6 months followed by a gap of4-6 months before 're starting again.
Common Harmful effects of oral contraceptive pills are weight gain, breast engorgement, mood swings and various other effects like liver dysfunction, deep venous thrombosis, etc are rare.
