Brief Answer:
Do one blood test for beta-hCG test for confirmation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

Irregular or delayed period may be due to hormonal imbalance, weight change, anxiety or mental stress, Poly Cystic Ovary, irregular diet pattern, lack of sleep etc.

In this case, I suggest to undergo one blood test for beta-hCG for confirmation of pregnancy (according to your clinical presentation). Home pregnancy test is NOT always best in early weeks.

On NEGATIVE test, I suggest Norethisterone tab for 5 days to induce period. Kindly, procure complete prescription from your local doctor.

Take healthy diet, control body weight, maintain genital hygiene and need proper sound sleep. It will help to induce period naturally.

Hope, it helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.

Wish your good health and take care yourself.

Regards,
Dr S Patra
