Question : I have cramps that hurt a lot and a late period of 4 days. It has been irregular and coming 4-6 days late even though I am on birth control. Could I be pregnant?
Brief Answer:
4-6 days late periods is considered regular
Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Thanks for writing..
I understand your concern..
4-6 days late periods is considered regular.. Since you are on birth control pills unlikely to be pregnant. So don't worry.. Periods between 21 to 35 days is considered normal..
If you have severe pain during periods an analgesic mefenemic acid will be sufficient.. Also get a ultrasound pelvis to rule out any ovarian cyst..
Hope I have answered your query.. Feel free to ask any doubts. Good day.
