Suggest Treatment For Irregular Period Bleeding After Child Birth While Previously Diagnosed With Bulky Uterus With Endometrial Thickness And Polycystic Ovaries

Question : Hi, My wife had been having irregular heavy bleeding since a couple of months. On Diagnosis, we got to know it is due to bulky uterus with endometrial thickness 25mm and polycystic ovaries. She was advised to take progenova first which did not help in controlling the bleeding. She was then advised to take ovral L,gynae CVT ,Hergrace, ovabless and menohelp syrup.. She is now having her period after taking one cycle of Ovral L but the bleeding is still heavy and painful ( using 4 to 5 pads a day). Is this normal.. please advice. she had delivered baby girl 9 months ago and had her first period 6 months after delivery, since then it has been irregular. Regards Aquil

Thanks for posting your query.

She seems to have more than normal bleeding. To control this bleeding she can start with Texakind- MF (prescription based medications) and regular iron supplements in addition to current medicines. This will help in controlling the excessive bleeding.

She needs to continue with Ovral-L for next 2-3 cycles to control the hormonal disturbance.
