Brief Answer:
Need evaluation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, ma'am,

Thanks for trusting us about her health care.

I can understand your concern.

There are so many reasons which may cause irregular periods.

The most common causes in her case are hormonal imbalance, thyroid disorder, PCOS, fibroid, stress, anxiety and infection.

To find out the cause, you should consult a Gynaecologist and get her examined and investigation like ultrasound pelvis( to rule out fibroid, polyp, PCOS ), thyroid profile ( to rule out thyroid disorder ), hormonal profile ( to rule out hormonal imbalance).

Blood test to rule out anemia and blood disorder.

Treatment is dependant upon the cause.

Please revert back to me with her reports, so I will be able to contribute a better opinion to you.

Hope it is useful, feel free to discuss more.

Brief Answer:
You can take eltroxin after doctor consultation.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Sorry for the delay in my response.

She can take eltroxin (levothyroxin) after doctor consultation because she is having hypothyroidism.

The test should be repeated initially in 4 weeks and than after 12 weeks and dose should be adjusted accordingly.

You should go for some more test like prolactin level, cholesterol levels.

Hope it is useful.

Regards
