Brief Answer:
Ultrasound advised

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
I would like to know the pattern of irregularity in your case and the maximum and minimum interval in between two period dates.
I would advise an ultrasound in the first place and then plan next step of management accordingly.

Brief Answer:
Urine pregnancy test and ultrasound advised

Detailed Answer:
Sorry for the delay in response as I got struck in an emergency.
Just do a urine pregnancy test and if it is negative then get an ultrasound done.
At times it occurs because of mild infection of may be there is some cyst in your ovaries.
Both these conditions will be clear by a good transvaginal ultrasound.
All the best

Dear Doctor,

Thanks a lot for your advice. Toda Morning, its my 4th day (June 3rd) and there is now heavy bleeding. This is accompanied by severe pain in both legs. So I suppose that urine pregnancy test might not be required. So then should I proceed for an Ultrasound.
