Question: For the past one month, I have had some issues with my right ear. Sometimes, there is irritation in the ear that feel like scratching inside my ear while I often feel that there is some sound inside my ear. The sound is like there is water inside or something.

Hi Mam,
I have gone through your question and understand your worry and concern. I would like to suggest that first rule out the cause of sound inside the ear for better management.

But To rule out the cause of sound inside the ear, it is absolute necessary that you may go for some test such as
1. Otoscopic examination of the ear to see the status of the tympanic membrane.
2. Tuning fork test for any abnormality in hearing.
3. Pure tone audiometry to rule out hearing loss.
4. Impedance audiometry to rule out any disease in middle ear.
5. Blood sugar examination and
6. Blood pressure measurement.

You will have to discuss these steps with your ENT surgeon.
