Suggest Treatment For Irritation On Skintag On The Neck

Question : I have had a skin tag on my neck that will occasionally be irritated with collars and such. It was actually torn off again lately but one little section remained. I went to my doctor to see if he could freeze it so it wouldn't come back. But because he said it was discolored a little he wanted a surgeon to see it. It does not hurt, only bled a little and I don't want any scars on my neck. Should I just leave it alone?
