Question : Dr l had a small 8mmx4mm acute inffrac.in my brain thalamus left with slight contract in in the artery.My right limbs very very slightly became weak.my dob prescribed scrocit 500 3 times a day .now I am back to normal movements no sy!ptoms how long should i continue whetherbthis would occurbin future.iam having high bp.now only 115/74 for past onecweek after med.chances of occurance i am worried.

Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Ischaemic stroke requires comprehensive workup at this age.
You need to get tested for cardiac illness via ecg and echo, lipid profile, renal function test, liver function test.
Antiplatelet drugs like ecospirin or clopidogrel should be started.
Blood pressure controlling drugs to be continued.
Strocit plus can be taken for 6-8 weeks.
Continuation of preventive medications and anti hypertension medications will avoid recurrence.
