Suggest Treatment For Itching All Over The Body

Question : I have itching all over my body. No rash. This has been going on for at least 2 years with intensifying over the past year. I have gone to an allergist and been tested for environmental triggers. All zero's except one weed in the fall.
I do not have dry skin, and use moisturizers as often as possible. Sometimes it gives temporary relief. But mostly I try Gold Bond itch cream to help somewhat. I also have hydroxizine but it only helps by putting me to sleep so I'm not up all night itching. It is better in the morning when I first get up, but starts right away again. I am trying to de-stress in case that is the cause. There is also the facts that I withdrew from Geodon use after 8 years in late 2014, early 2015. Could this be a trailing effect? I need ideas to address with my PCP.

I have gone through your complaints and understand your concern.
Itching doesn't seem to be related to stoppage of Geodon.
Itching can be due to some systemic problems like thyroid disease, anemia, polycythemia, liver and kidney problems,
diabetes.
I would recommend you to undergo blood tests to exclude internal causes.
Get your complete blood count, thyroid function tests, liver function tests, kidney function tests and fasting blood sugar levels.
This might help in identifying the cause of itching.
