Question : I think I have a case of dermatitis that has been bothering me for about a week. I have itching and redness (most likely from scratching) around my waste band and groin area. I've tried keeping the areas dry and I shower each day. I have used powders and some sprays to try to alleviate the itching but nothing seems to work to get rid of this. Can you advise? Thank you.

Hi,

Apply a topical steroid like cortisone cream on the affected areas twice daily and take antihistaminic like tablet Cetirizine 10 mg once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching.
This will help in resolving your problem.
