Suggest Treatment For Itching And Swelling On The Palms, Wrist And Feet
Question: I am suffering from continuous itching and swelling of my palms, wrists, bottom and top of feet and now on my stomach and thighs. The swelling forms knots and go away over a few days however the itching has not stopped even with benydryl
Do you know if I should extremely concerned?

Hi dear.Thanks for your query on HCM.
Your complaints are suggestive of generalised itching and it needs a detailed work-up to identify the cause of itching.I completely agree that itching has not been subsided despite several OTC's and deeply regret about that.
I would suggest to take Tab.Allegra 180mg once daily(let me know if you have already tried & for how long) for one week as empirical treatment.This is available ovet the counter and reduces itching.
Apply calamine lotion topically so that it soothes your skin.Nothing to be extremely concerned. Donot worry.
May I request you to provide some more information like-
How and when did it start?Do you have fever, tiredness?
Where did you notice it first?Is it on palms, wrist etc?
Do you have a similar history in the past?
Any relevant family history?
Can you upload the snaps of the affected areas to help you better?
Do you have any know allergy to food, insects etc?
