Brief Answer:
You will benefit with evaluation...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

As per your description, there are couple of possibilities that explains your symptoms.
1. Post nasal drip from an existing sinus or nasal condition
2. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

In the both the conditions, contents from stomach (in GERD) and upper respiratory tube (sinus) irritate the back of throat leading to cough, itching and secretions in the throat. Since you also have blocked nose, sinus problems has an edge over GERD as cause is concerned.

You might feel better with saline water gargles and steam inhalation. However since the symptoms are growing for the last 2 months, it is important to find the exact cause and treat it adequately. You should consult the nearest ENT surgeon to find the complete treatment.

In the interim, you should continue steam inhalation and saline gargles. Also add proton pump inhibitor like a pantoprazole 40mg once a day half an hour before breakfast for couple of weeks.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Brief Answer:
St. John's Hospital....

Detailed Answer:
I am personally unaware of specialist in that part of city. But if you are willing to travel to Rajajinagar, you can meet Dr. Sreenivasan XXXXXXX who consults at Suguna Hospital, Dr. XXXXXXX Road, 4th Block Rajajinagar.

The closest to BTM will be doctors at Department of ENT, St. John's Hospital. Since it is a medical college and teaching unit, you can bet experts there will be experienced and good.

Further on the web, I heard about Sree ENT care centre at BTM layout. A doctor named Dr. Raghvendra Babu consults there. You can find the details on just dial.

Any of these ENT surgeon should be able to figure the exact cause and provide the treatment.

Good luck!!
