Brief Answer:
Risk for HIV is less

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

1. The kissing on her lips and breasts do not have any risk for infection.

2. Protected sex has small risk of HIV infection in range of 1 in 10000 events.

3. Receiving blow job might have a risk of HIV infection 1 in 4000.

4. Therefore the chance of HIV from above event is less and you should not worry.

5. The itching might be probably due to sheets were unclean during sex. However if you have rashes, burning urination and discharge from penis in next few days then please consult your doctor.

Hope your query is answered.
Please write back if you have any doubts.

Thanks for the answers. How about risk of any STDs. I am not able to sleep at all, constantly worrying if I may have picked anything. I went to the doc yesterday and they checked my genital area and didn't find anything. They gave a proactive treatment of Gonorrhea and Clamydia, which I completed. What are the chances of herpes, syphilis, hpv

Brief Answer:
Please find details below

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

1. It is good that your doctor has clinically examined you and given treatment for Gonorrhea and Clamydia proactively.

2. Following are the chances of STDs after unprotected sex in men
Genital Herpes 30%
Gonorrhea 25%
Chlamydia 20%
Syphilis 20%
Chancroid 15%
Genital Warts 10%
Hepatitis B 5%
HIV 0.9%

3. Therefore the chances of getting STDs after protected sex is very less. Exact percent of disease infection after protected sex is not available but there are chances if the lady had any rashes and sores in the mouth and genital area with discharge. The risk for herpes, syphilis and HPV might be 5 to 10 percent.

Hope your query is answered.
Please write back if you have any doubts.

In 2., did you mean Unprotected sex or did you mean Unprotected oral sex?

Also, can you provide the time by which I can test for each of those.

Can I go in 3 weeks and get tested for all and take the results as conclusive?

I read that genital herpes symptoms start in 2-5 days. If I don't see any symptoms by day 10, can I stop worrying about herpes?

Brief Answer:
Most STDs to be tested after 30 days

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

1. The risk mentioned earlier in point 2 for each infection is from a single Unprotected vaginal sexual intercourse between a male and female.

2. Hepatitis B is conclusive after 6 months

3. HIV is conclusive with 4th generation rapid test after 1 month

4. The other infections chlamydia, herpes, syphilis, gonorrhea are to be tested after 30 days.

6. HPV warts is positive after 3 months.

7. Most genital herpes will not cause symptoms. You might relax but getting tested after 30 day sis important. However if she did not have oral or genital rashes then no need to worry for herpes.

Hope your query is answered.
