Posted on Thu, 16 Jul 2015
Question: My eyes have been itchy and sore, ears clogged and light headed for the last 4 weeks. Any ideas why? I know it isnt ear wax tho, been checked for that.

Also bad headaches, more like light sensitivity headaches after working. Been keeping hydrated tho.

Brief Answer:
Middle ear infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query.
I can understand your concern.
This seems most likely a middle ear infection and edema due to infection.
A course of broad spectrum antibiotic, plus anti inflammatory may ease your symptoms.
Cefixime with clavulanic acid and serapeptdes with aceclofenac with levocetirizine might help.
This usually takes a long time to improve , but symptoms should start easing in about a weeks time.
Hope you have answers to your query. If any thing else you are welcome.
Good luck.
