Question: Hi, for the last week I've been itching a lot. The places where it itches the most is the inner legs and the upper arms. At first it was just an itch without any visible lesions. Now I can see some mosquito type bumps but they come and go. What is this?!

Brief Answer:
Likely eczema . scabies also likely. need evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and I understand your concern. Itching bumps on inner thigh and arms are very common and are likely atopic dermatitis also called eczema. Jock itch also presents this way but that is just in groin area.

Scabies also present this way and may cause such inner thigh and upper arm itching mostly at night worsened and causing severe itch.

Get some anti histamine and topical steroid cream for the bump and consult your doctor nearby to let him decide whether scabicidal agents are needed or not. Keep the nails trimmed and avoid vigorous scratch to prevent wound and secondary infections.

Keep the hygiene and avoid sweating and tight clothes. See if it helps.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please.
