Suggest Treatment For Itchy Bumps On The Hands

Question : one week ago I got bumps on my hands. thought they were bug bites. they hurt and itch. some turn into blood blisters. others turn into blisters or welts. the ER doctor gave me 6 day steroid treatment and that worked great until 2 days after I was done with treatment. its back mainly on hands but have welts on face, legs neck.

Hi

I have gone through your medical history carefully. I have gone through the picture you sent in and can say that the itchy bumps are due to allergy reaction to insect bite.

Steroids alone cannot help. Antihistaminic should be used orally and locally.

The pain you feel is due to scratching as the bumps are itchy. Apply cold compresses to ease itchiness together with antihistaminic or steroid cream locally.
