Question: I seem to suffer a lot with itchy eyelids, nose along with scratchy and sore throat. I also have pain and pressure around my face like under my eyes on the bridge of my nose ,both sides, severe headaches, stuffy and congestion in the nose. When blowing my nose the mucous is white in color and very hard to get out, I often have to enter my nose with toilet paper twisted to a point to get it out and when I do its very thick and sticky like glue. My ears also makes a flat lined constant nose and i can also feel fluid or a popping sound in my ears when blowing my nose. Ears can also be tender and painful to the touch. Lastly I also have fluid that covers the back of my throat and causes ne to swallow constantly. Please help.

Considerations

Detailed Answer:
Hello & thank you for submitting your question.

Upon reviewing your medical history & the symptoms you report, it sounds as if you're suffering from sinusitis, either acute or chronic. This can be caused by a variety of things including allergies, microorganisms (such as mold), or even general inflammatory conditions.

If the symptoms have persisted for a while (i.e., months) without response to the medications you report taking, then it would be reasonable to check back with your physician for a change in your medication regimen and possible adjunct laboratory testing. If this is a relatively new condition, it may take a little time to respond to the medication.

If there is any severe change in the symptoms, please see your doctor immediately. In addition to medication, surgery may be considered, however this would be after a while of treatment without response. I hope you are feeling better soon.
