Question : Often the caruncle of both my eyes is itchy. I poke and rub numerous times in succession. It causes a cracking sound, and seems to relieve the itch. Then minutes later I start over again. What causes the itch ? Will the poking and rubbing cause harm to my eyes ? This has been happening for a few years.
