Suggest Treatment For Itchy Feet, Legs And Palms While Having Dengue

Question: My son 13 years has dengue and couldn't sleep last night due to itchy feet ,legs and palms ....he has been hospitalised but the itching is what no one is addressing to. What can be applied to relieve him as soon as possible

You can apply calamine lotion over the feet, legs and palms. If itching is intense you can even give a dose of Tab Levocet 5mg.

My son is still itchy inspire of giving him Atarax and very restless. Does the papaya leaf juice or caripill tablet helps? Also if he has a history of bronchitis/ Asthma can this papaya leaf juice or caripill can cause any wheezing or allergic itching as he has allergic to nuts and kiwi fruit.

Yes, you can give Caripill but not the juice made from the leaves. Juice may be contaminated.

Caripill will not affect his pre-existent condition.
