Brief Answer:
Allergic reaction.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.
Probably the child has developed an allergic reaction.
I treat such cases with a mild steroid cream like mometasone to be applied twice daily for a week.
If there is itch you can give an antihistamine syrup like cetrizine once daily in night.
If possible upload a photograph of the involved area.
This will help me in giving a closer diagnosis and better way of management.
Waiting for your response.
Thank you.
