Brief Answer:
Looks like Contact Dermatitis, an allergic rash

Detailed Answer:
Hey there XXXX, Thanks for coming to HealthCareMagic.

I've taken a look at the picture you uploaded and I'm happy to say that this does not look like anything major like an infection or eczema.

It does look to me like an allergic reaction by the skin to something you may have come in contact with.. some sort of fabric or waist band or cream maybe?

The treatment for this is pretty simple, topical steroid medications like 1% hydrocortisone are the mainstay of treatment. Try it. Hydrocortisone creams are available over the counter in any major drug store.

Clean the area thoroughly with soap and water and apply a thin layer of the cream over the rash for about a week. Lets see how it reacts. The rash should subside pretty drmatically, if it doesn't, then you will probably need to be seen by a dermatologist.

For now, try the 1% Hydrocortisone cream and let me know how it works out for you.

Make sense?
I look forward to your reply,

Vinay
