Suggest Treatment For Itchy Red Streaks Under The Arm

default
Posted on Mon, 27 Jun 2016
Question: Red streaks under the left arm. Some are on the underside of the arm, between the arm pit and approx 5" below the elbow. The others are within a 5" distance below the arm pit. Their length, 1 - 3.5 inches; width 1/16 to 1/4".
The area is itchy when they are present. They come and go. Sometimes, just a streak or two will be present and other times no presence. -Wondering what might be causing this. Thank you

Brief Answer:
Most likely allergic reaction from some thing.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM

I have gone through your query. As the streaks are coming and going it can be most likely allergic reaction from some thing. It can be from deodorants you use or some thing you exposes. Taking anti histamines like cetirizine (zyrtec) and applying calamine lotion will be helpful in such case.

If you send a picture of it then it will be more helpful in analysing.

Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
