Brief Answer:
Scalp prurigo or seborrheic dermatitis most probably

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HCM..

It seems that most probably you may be having scalp prurigo. It may be due to anxiety, tension or worries. The other possibility may be seborrheic dermatitis. But, in that case, you may be having dandruff on scalp. Kindly consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.

I would suggest...

- oral steroid in tapering dose
- antihistaminics like levocetirizine 5 mg daily
- antifungal like fluconazole 400 mg per week
- apply mild steroid with antifungal lotion like candid B lotion
- cleanse the scalp with shampoo containing ketoconazole like nizral shampoo daily
- anxiolytic drug like fluoxetine 10 mg daily at night
- relax,avoid worries and tension

I hope the above tips may be helpful. You may continue treatment under guidance of your doctor.

Thanks.
