Question : I have a stubborn case of Jock itch that I am treating with terbinafine cream for 7 days. I am on day 5 and the rash has faded but is slightly present. This after clotrimazole failed to kill the fungus. Can I use terbinafine for longer than the seven days listed on the tube?

Yes you can use terbinafine cream for a longer duration of upto 2-3 weeks.
7 days is less a time for treating stubborn fungal infection as there are high chances of recurrence with short duration of treatment.
