Brief Answer:
Intralesional steroid injections

Detailed Answer:
Hello
keloid is a collection of fibrous tissue. Steroid injections are best treatment for these.
At present he has developed infection.
First he needs treatment with oral and topical antibiotics for a week.
Once the infection is controlled intralesional triamcinolone ( steroid) injections can be given once a month.
He will get relief in 2 or 3 injections.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you
