Question : Is it safe to swim with a ureter stent in place for a kidney stone. I am female.

Swimming in the pool may predispose to higher risk of having a urinary tract infection. You should try at any cost to avoid a urinary tract infection, not only by avoiding swimming if possible but also by drinking plenty of fluids. This is because when you will remove it also, the infection may spread to the kidneys.

So, please try to refrain from swimming for the time being.
