Suggest Treatment For Kidney Stones Along With Nausea

Question: I have a history of kidney stones. I have had a gradual pain in back and front right side over the past few days. Now I have the onset of nausea, just wondering if I should get it checked for something other than kidney stones.

All the symptoms are due to Kidney stone .

Thanks for query .

With known history of having kidney stones in past the present symptom complex like pain in loin ,nausea strongly point s a diagnosis of recurrence of Kidney stone and not any thing else .

Consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Renal function tests

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests which will reveal site,size degree of hydronephrosis (Back pressure changes in kidney )and effect of stone on kidney function

Till then continue taking Tylenol in addition to antibiotic like Norfloxacin twice daily .

Ensure to drink more water .
