I have been asked to stop eating chocolate, tea, reduce use of salt, and have been asked to drink 25 to 300 ml water after every 2 hours and 1 glass of water before going to bed and 1 in the midnight.

and hv been asked to eat salad in particular and oranges as well.
Please confirm do I need to take any additional precaution.

And I have been through all the USG KUB , 24 Hours Urine, ROutine Urine test, Oxalate content was 90 for 24 hours urine and uric acid content was 6.4 for 24 hours urine test.

Brief Answer:
You are on good treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query.
I can understand your concern.
The line of treatment given by your doctor is very good.
Water intake and diet plan is also fine.
Oxalate and uric acid will reduce in due course with intake of water.
Chocolates, spinach, beets and tea are known to increase OXALATE content, it is better to avoid them.
Coffee and vitamin C are said to lower uric acid content in blood.
Avoid holding your urine for long, it facilitates stone formation.
Hope you have answer to your query, if any thing else you are welcome.
Good luck.

Just want to confirm, one of my friend has also suggested me to take homeopathic tablets along.
Can I do that?
And do we have any other provision rather than going for urination at 2 AM in the morning.
Or if by any chance, any medicine got skipped or I forgot for one time or two 3 or 4 times in a month.
Will it b a sign of worry.
Thanks for your time doctor.

Brief Answer:
Homeopathics can be taken along side.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
Taking homeopathics along side is not prohibited, you can do that in my opinion.
Missing dose once in a while will not make much of difference.
It is not necessary to wake up just to pass urine, without urge.
If there is urge you will automatically do so.
These are no signs for worry.Relax.
Hope you have answer to your query, if any thing else you are welcome,or you can close the question and rate the answer.
Good luck.

Could you please confirm sir, why Bafilic XXXXXXX has been prescribed to me, as it is prescribed to Diareha patients.
What is its use in my case??
sir
I have started drinking about 2 to 3 litres a day, do I need to increase the intake or is it fine?
and I am sticking to the diet schedule as suggested by the doctor.
Thanks for your very quick replies.

Brief Answer:
Water intake can be increased.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
Your water intake can be increased to another liter or so, that is up to 4 liters.
Bafilic XXXXXXX contains spores , which normalises intestinal flora and in turn increases body's resistance against recurrent infection, which may not be helpful in disintegration of stones.
This a preventive measure.
Hope I have answered your query.

Good luck.
