Question : I am having knee pain since last couple of month. I feel it is due to one of the incident where I landed my foot incorrectly while running. Will this be long term pain and will I ever get my knee healed? What would be proper treatment to get it healed?
Brief Answer:
It can be cartilage injury
Detailed Answer:
Hello, I have studied your case. I think most probably you are having cartilage injury of the knee. it is common in young athletes or people who do yoga. I would suggest you following.
1. Avoid squatting and sitting cross leg.
2. Do not run on hard surface .
3. Get MRI of the knee joint. it will confirm the diagnosis.
4.Tablet Dicerin twice daily.
5. Hot water fomentation.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. let me know if there is any other followup questions. thanks
